With temperatures in the ‘80s, it’s the perfect time to take a weekend trip with the boys to this sprawling Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Four Seasons Orlando At Walt Disney World Resort paradise in Florida. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. So when your last meeting has wrapped, grab your Gucci duffel and head straight to the airport. A quick weekend getaway with a couple of friends is just what you need. Get ready for 48 hours of fun like golfing on a Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole course, having a facial, and relishing dinner with a view. Here are our top five reasons why a stay here is essential and an overall win-win for you and your compadres.

The Room Rocks

Book a 500-square-foot Lake View Room and take in the lake or golf course vistas from your balcony. On Saturday morning, stay in bed and order 24-hour dining (the lemon ricotta French toast with limoncello whipped cream and a side of applewood smoked bacon will prepare you for the day ahead) from your room’s iPad, and while you’re at it, send a quick electronic Four Seasons postcard to your significant other to let her know that you’re loving this weekend getaway. The accommodations come with a king-size bed, queen-size sleeper sofa, flat-screen television, marble bathroom, complimentary shoe shine service and more.

If you and the crew have a feeling you’re not going to want to leave after a two-night stay, book the Stay Longer-Fourth Night Free package. Valid through September 28, you pay for three nights and the hotel will give you an extra night on them!

Lunch at Plancha

Meet the fellas at Plancha (it’s about a four-minute walk from the hotel lobby) for some food. The Cuban American restaurant, which is located in the golf clubhouse, offers a variety of entrées that are sure to satiate. Start off with the must-have guacamole (think roasted corn relish) and warm naan chips. It’s so good that you will consider ordering a second round just for yourself! And as for your main dish, the Tranquilo Club with its crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, turkey, avocado, tomato and shallot mayonnaise will fill you up before you hit the links for a competitive round of golf with the guys.

Hit The Green

Before you show your friends how great your golf game really is, work on your swings with Rod Cook, the PGA director of instruction for Tranquilo Golf Club. He’s coached everyone from PGA Tour players Chris Smith to Clayton Rask. “Anyone that has a passion for learning, I’m all in,” says Cook. Teaching for more than 20 years, Cook will help you work on your chipping, putting, and confidence in his clinics. Sign up for the Bobby Jones-inspired lifestyle package, which comes with a $100 daily resort credit toward a round of 18 holes, golf lesson or spa treatment. You’ll also receive a $100 one-time credit toward a Bobby Jones item (think logo wear) from the Golf Shop and as an added bonus, you’ll take home—well, it will be shipped to you—the picturesque coffee table book, “The Legend of Bobby Jones: The Greatest of Them All.”

Get Pampered

From the moment you check in at the 13,000-square-foot spa and inhale the property’s citrusy signature scent, you’ll be in heaven. And now that your aesthetician is ready to cater to your needs, this 50-minute Active Men’s Facial that you’ve signed up for is guaranteed to be a real treat. Whether you’re used to playing sports on a daily basis or you are just on the go all of the time, your skincare specialist will analyze your face and create a plan for your particular skin type. This procedure, which includes exfoliation, extractions, a mask application and massage, will offer a fresh-faced approach to your regimen. It will be easy to duplicate this ritual when you return to your residence too. Just remember to pick up essentials like Turo Skin’s three-in-one face, hair and body cleanser to bring the Four-Star experience home with you.

Dine Under the Stars

End the day at Capa, the hotel’s Spanish steakhouse. Sit inside the dimly-lit restaurant with your pals or hit the terrace and feast while nightly fireworks from the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center light up the sky. We recommend sharing plates before the main course arrives. Start with the Basque 75 (Nolet’s gin, cava, Basque vermouth, clarified lemon, strawberry pearls and lemongrass) and then savor the hamachi, cerdo (pork belly, apple, pistachio), dátiles (Medjool dates, almond, bacon, maple, tamarind) and coliflor (fried cauliflower, caper, egg). From there, have chef Gabriel Massip prepare a 16-ounce pork chop or 12-ounce prime bone-in filet with a side of white asparagus and maíz (charred corn, creamy polenta, cilantro, Pedro Ximénez) for you. The juicy meat and its accompaniments are stellar. Afterward, you and the guys will probably be stuffed but save room for dessert. The Churros de Madrid with chocolate or caramel sauces is light, fluffy, topped with sugar and tastes divine. An order of those will be fun to share—or fight over!
