A Toast to the Summer Olympics with Cruzan Rum

Athletes from around the world are on their way to Rio for the big games and across the U.S people are already planning watch parties for the opening ceremony, their favorite sports, and more. A perfect drink for any Olympics related fiesta is the Cruzan Blue Latitude, a combination of Cruzan Aged Light Rum, blue curacao, fresh orange juice and lemon-lime soda, reminiscent of the Brazilian flag  in a cocktail glass.

Here are a few thought starters on hosting the perfect watch party too:
A Signature Cocktail: Every host needs an easy, festive drink like the Blue Latitude
Decorations: Hang up a few flags to create an international feel or decorate with symbolic theme colors – blue, yellow, black, green and red
Snacks: Assign each attendee a country and have them bring a snack or dish representative of that country’s cuisine

Cruzan Blue Latitude
Ingredients:
1 part Cruzan Aged Light Rum
1 part Blue Curacao
1 part Orange Juice
1 part Lemon-Lime Soda

Method:
Pour Cruzan Aged Light Rum and Blue Curacao in a tall glass over ice, fill with orange juice and top with lemon-lime soda.
