With an established presence on four continents, and venues in New York, Sao Paolo, St Tropez and St. Barth amongst them, Bagatelle has created a powerful energy and draw with an international base of clientele who are stylish nomads and loyal followers who continuously cross paths in these destinations. Now the brand arrives in Miami’s South Beach with their first boutique hotel: Villa Bagatelle.

In 2008, Bagatelle opened the doors to its first restaurant in the heart of the Meatpacking District in NYC. Through the years, Bagatelle quickly established itself as a leading lifestyle brand encompassed by these key ingredients: great food (which is at the epicenter of the experience), great service, unique music programming that sets the tone literally and figuratively, and art. Take these elements and mix it with the extraordinary vision of owners Aymeric Clemente and Remi Laba, and you have captured Bagatelle’s “joie de vivre” attitude. Forever having their finger on the pulse, Clemente and Laba take their next venture to Miami Beach which feels like a natural progression.

“Having established the brand in 2008, we are ready to expand our vision of hospitality – created in the spirit of – and serviced in the Bagatelle style. For years we have been asked when our concepts will morph into a hotel,” says Clemente. Laba adds, “This project allows us to impart our Bagatelle lifestyle programming in ways that we have not been able to before, while delivering the experience and level of services that we have become known for.”

Villa Bagatelle will evolve in two phases over the course of the next 18 months. The first transformation begins in November with a cosmetic renovation to the hotel’s common areas, including the lobby as well as the luxuriously spacious guest rooms designed to impart the look and feel of the brand.   Phase two will bring the complete Bagatelle fingerprint to the hotel by transforming the current roof deck into a complete Bagatelle St. Tropez  experience.  An early sun bath, a swim, lunch that includes lingering over bottles of rosé from Provence, followed by popping bottles of bubbly champagne to carry you into the night.

The pool deck will ultimately include a full service food and beverage experience:  daytime dining, a full bar, grill and the inimitable St. Tropez Bagatelle beach club feel.  The courtyard will then become Bagatelle Gardens, an oasis where hotel guests or passersby will be able to enjoy breakfast, a unique third wave coffee experience, a light lunch, dinner or even al fresco drinks in a tropical garden, where art meets food. The Villa Bagatelle lobby and garden is destined to be the place to congregate for casual meetings, friendly encounters, and informal work sessions with free Wi-Fi.  It will be a place where one can fuel their creative genius with fantastic coffee, tea and culinary experiences.

Perfectly located in the vibrant Collins Park neighborhood, the boutique hotel is located in the heart of Miami Beach, across from the world renowned Setai Hotel, steps away from the W, Delano and upcoming Faena.

Located at 220 -21st St and Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, FL, rates begin at $379 USD.
