Celebrate National Cognac Day With COURVOISIER

On June 4, National Cognac Day, Courvoisier Cognac invites you to celebrate. From its humble beginnings in Paris, France to gracing the tables of the Royal Courts of Denmark, England, Sweden – and even Napoleon – Courvoisier’s reputation as one of the leading cognac houses in the world continues to grow.

Here are four ways to sip the spirit this holiday:

Easy Breezy (pictured above)

  • 1 ½ parts Courvoisier V.S. Cognac
  • 4 parts cranberry juice
  • Orange slice for garnish

Method: Pour cognac in glass, add ice and top with cranberry juice. Garnish with ½ orange slice.

  • 1 ½ part Courvoisier V.S. Cognac
  • 4 parts Stiegl™ grapefruit beer
  • Salt
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Method: Pour cognac in a glass, add ice and pinch of salt. Top with grapefruit beer and garnish with a lime wedge.

The Classic (Copy)

The Classic

  • 2 ½ parts Courvoisier X.O.  Cognac
  • 1 sugar cube
  • 2 dashes of bitters
  • 1 dash Angostura® bitters
  • Absinthe rinse
  • Lemon peel for garnish

Method: Soak sugar cube with bitters and drop into the mixing glass. Add a few drops of water to the sugar cube in the mixing glass, muddle sugar cube, add Courvoisier and stir to incorporate sugar. Add ice, stir to dilution and strain into an absinthe rinsed glass. Garnish with a lemon peel.

Courvoisier Neat

  • 1 ½ parts Courvoisier  V.S. Cognac
