At this year’s Governors Ball, the official post-event gala of the Academy Awards, Hollywood’s biggest stars will transcend back in time with a salute to the ‘Roaring 20s.’ This year’s speakeasy theme will feature classic cocktails with a modern twist including a “Gold and Soda” bar with Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve scotch and sodas – the original highball. Guests will have their choose of handcrafted soda waters, infused with fruits, herbs and spices, to pair with the premium Scotch whisky.

Additionally, for the second year in a row, Diageo will be featuring the “Ultimate Scotch Whisky Bar’ highlighting the event’s signature “Scot’s Pear” cocktail along with newly released Scotch whiskies including: Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Johnnie Walker Platinum Label, Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, Mortlach Rare Old and Talisker Storm single malts, and Haig Club single grain whisky created in partnership with David Beckham and Simon Fuller.

Ingredients
1.5oz Johnnie Walker Platinum Label
.25oz Tawny Port
1oz Pear Juice
.75oz Ginger Syrup
.75oz Lemon Juice

Preparation
