Gangs of New York Inspired Liquor Day

This October 16 is National Liquor Day and it’s time to celebrate like Hell Cat Maggie would do – by kicking ass! Hell Cat was an actual historical figure in the Five Points area of Manhattan in New York City. Tough as nails, she filed her nails and teeth into points which to shred her opponents’ skin in a fight.  She was also featured in the movie Gangs of New York.

Hell Cat Maggie is a blended whisky made with Grain Irish whiskey from corn and Malt Irish whiskey made from Malted barley. The whiskey is matured and aged for a minimum of four years in ex-bourbon barrels.
