This week history was made when the 2017 HOMBRE Men of The Year Awards presented by Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilege honored Latinos at the top of their fields, working to uplift our communities.
Among this years inductees are ‘MasterChef’ judge Aarón Sánchez, recognized as Chef & Restaurateur of the Year, Boxing Champion and Hennessy Brand Ambassador Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez was recognized as Athlete of the Year, CFDA fashion designer Carlos Campos is Designer of the Year, Ballet Hispanico Artistic Director/CEO Eduardo Vilaro is the Arts & Culture Trailblazer of the Year, Businessman and CEO of Viva Entertainment Group Johnny Falcones is the Technology Innovator of the Year, and Giuvadan VP Rodrigo Flores-Roux is the Fragrance & Grooming Pioneer of the Year.
Honorees were awarded with a crystal award in the shape of a flame symbolizing Latin spirit and passion, and the fire that burns within. Presenters included designer John Varvatos, top ten recording artist Soleil J, and Group Advertising Director at Hearst Magazines James D’Adamo.
Now the HOMBRE Men of the Year Awards presented by Hennessy V.S.O.P. Privilege move into a new phase as honorees have donated a number of experiences to raise funds for victims of the disasters in Mexico and Puerto Rico.
