J.B. Smoove And Crown Royal Team Up With New York City’s Finest To Give Back This Holiday Season

During the busy holiday season and leading into a new year, a feel-good story that speaks to exceptional generosity can be a welcome change from the everyday hustle and bustle. Comedian/actor J.B Smoove and Crown Royal joined together with New York’s finest – the men and women of FDNY’s Crown-Heights Engine 234/Ladder 123/Battalion 28 Station to pack care packages for our troops stationed overseas.


From one active service person to another, the packages included non-perishable snacks, holiday-themed treats and personal notes of gratitude. All bags support the Crown Royal Purple Bag Project. In addition, J.B. presented a check for $5,000 to the FDNY Foundation that he specifically earmarked for the station’s needs and upkeep.
