Johnny Falcones, Viva Entertainment Group’s Chairman & CEO Is Named ‘Padrino’ Of Nation’s Biggest Hispanic Parade

The Hispanic Day Parade is one of the country’s biggest Latin celebrations. The annual event takes over New York‘s Fifth Avenue, attracting close to a million attendees. This year Johnny Falcones, Viva Entertainment Group‘s Chairman & CEO was named ‘Padrino,’  the Parade’s biggest honor – along with Grand Marshall, a title given to Bronx Borough President, Rubén Díaz Jr.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio 

During the Parade’s reception held at Gracie Mansion, New York’s Mayor Bill de Blasio congratulated Falcones, and all honorees on the immense contributions the Hispanic community brings to the City of New York. The Hispanic Day Parade chose to recognize Falcones for his long standing achievements in the entertainment industry, and for the success of  his Vivalive App, which continues to promote Latin culture by making US Hispanic, and Latin American television networks available to the masses.

This year marked the Hispanic Day Parade’s 54th Anniversary of bringing together all Spanish speaking nations in Latin America and the Caribbean, along with Spain, for a colorful and festive celebration in one of world’s most iconic avenues. The Parade marched up Fifth Avenue beginning at 44th Street ending at 72nd Street.
