Kimpton Angler’s Hotel South Beach revealed its new stunningly designed spaces and 85 new guest rooms recently with the completion of its new addition on Washington Avenue just steps from the Atlantic Ocean and the world-famous Art Deco District.

Further adding to Kimpton Angler’s new guest experience is the 6th floor rooftop pool and sundeck, a complimentary daily morning cardio program, in-room spa services, and the newly-opened Minnow Bar, which celebrates clear spirits with a rotating array of gins, vodkas, piscos, cachaça and agave spirits infused with fresh local herbs to create original and classic cocktails.

The new wing, which houses the hotel’s newly-opened Minnow Bar, represents one of the few new builds on South Beach and provides an all-new architectural space that encourages guests to let the weight of the world fall away. Kimpton Angler’s current rates start at $249 (low season) and $349 (high season), with reduced “Discovery Rates” available. (Rates vary based on room type and availability at time of booking.)

Kimpton Angler’s new addition more than doubles its inventory to include a total of 132 guest rooms offering spacious floor plans ranging in size from 400 to 1,000 square feet. The uncommon mix of accommodations includes modern and airy studios with a lush terrace offering sunrise and sunset views; two-story lofts with cozy living area and spiral staircase leading up to a second bedroom level; two-story villas situated amongst lush gardens with their own secluded private entrance; two-story spa villas with two full baths, private patio and Jacuzzi; and the three-story poolside bungalows with private rooftop terrace, outdoor shower and lounge area.

“Together with the genuine customer care and service that have become hallmarks of the Kimpton brand, Kimpton Angler’s refreshed design and sophisticated experience provide the quintessential ‘getaway’ for visitors to Miami – an understated luxury retreat at the center of it all that is brimming with social cache,” said Jacqueline Lejart, general manager, Kimpton Angler’s.

Kimpton Angler offers a play of light against dark and mood-setting design elements throughout the hotel’s interior spaces. Conceived by San Francisco-based interior designer Nicole Hollis, Kimpton Angler’s stunning contrasts use raw materials, exquisite hand-hewn works, and custom-designed pieces to create an aesthetic that is both sophisticated yet raw; rough but with polish. Outside, guests will fall in love with the hotel’s Old-World European mystique, hidden nooks, and lush gardens, while hints of its’ nautical past remain throughout the property for guests to discover.

For refined social gatherings, Kimpton Angler’s event spaces are equally unconventional with a variety of stylish indoor and lushly landscaped outdoor options including a terrace, open-air deck, pool deck, and rooftop pool deck space, that total nearly 19,000 square feet and can accommodate banquets and receptions for up to 650 guests.

Guests of Kimpton Angler’s will continue to enjoy all of Kimpton’s beloved amenities and experiences including hosted nightly wine hour, complimentary morning coffee and tea, PUBLIC bikes, yoga mats, luxurious Atelier Bloem bath products; “Forgot It? We Got It!” menu of travel and vacation essentials; a thoughtful mini bar stocked with local favorites; and free Wi-Fi for IHG Rewards members. As with all Kimpton properties, Kimpton Angler’s is also pet-friendly. In addition, hotel guests can avail themselves of on-the-go beach bags, towels and umbrellas to use at their leisure; a second heated adult-only pool; personalized spa and wellness services; on-site parking and valet; and 24-hour in-room dining.

Kimpton Angler’s is the third hotel in Kimpton’s Miami portfolio, together with Kimpton EPIC Miami and Surfcomber Hotel.
