Last week, top Latin entertainers and musicians gathered in Las Vegas to celebrate the 15th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. Scotch whisky Buchanan’s was the official spirits sponsor of the iconic event. To celebrate Latino talent the brand toasted nominees, presenters and performers with El Cantante, the official cocktail created by Moses Laboy, exclusively for the Latin GRAMMYs.

Prior to the Awards ceremony, artists including Carlos Vives and Chiqui Delgado, among others, visited the Gifting Lounge and enjoyed cocktails and their own engraved rocks glass.

Rising star J Balvin celebrated his three nominations to the Latin GRAMMY with Buchanan’s. Toasting his success in establishing a name in the music industry with friends and family he said:

“I am happy to celebrate this special moment with you! I am very proud of how far I’ve come and it’s truly been a group effort. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my team, my family and my fans. It’s been a lot of work, but it has been very rewarding to see that people are starting to recognize my name and my work. Thank you Buchanan’s for celebrating with me during the week of the Latin GRAMMY’s! Salud!”

The celebrations of the week ended with several after parties, including the Universal After Party, where Juanes, Fonseca, J Balvin, and Juan Magan among others toasted for a successful evening!

Ingredients:
1.5 oz. of Buchanan’s® DeLuxe™ Blended Scotch Whisky
.75 oz. of Mango Purée
.75 oz. of Passion Fruit Juice
1 oz. of Fresh lime juice
Sliced almonds for garnishing

Preparation:
Pour in all ingredients in a tall glass
Add crushed ice and swizzle until cold
Top with sliced almonds and serve
Ideal glass: Tall glass
Yield: 1 drink, no drink contains more than 0.6 fluid ounces of alcohol
