Liberty Fairs New York presented a showcase of the menswear loos for Fall 2014 and beyond. There were over 100 new brands to the show this season as well as a major international presence. The major industry trade show was held at a new location, Pier 94 in Manhattan’s west side. Notable new brands to join the show include Theory, Helmut Lang, Daniel Won, Norman Russell, and Sully Wong, among others.

LIBERTY11As always, the show had a strong showing of international brands with highlights including Anthony Miles (UK), Barns Outfitters (Japan), Cipher (China), Cledran, and Whyred (Sweden).

The Drugstore, Curated by David Pirrotta, made it’s NYC launch this season with brands including Blind Barber, Brooklyn Grooming, Dr. Dewy, Grown Alchemist, Jao Brand, Manready Mercantile, Marvis, Mayron’s Goods, MCMC, Mr. Black’s Garment Essentials, Oliver & Co., Portland General Store, Proraso, Reverie and Ursa Major.

Liberty also launched curated groupings of accessories brands merchandised within the different neighborhoods of the show floor.  New brands to the areas include American Trench, Conscious Step, Cub & Co., Lucky Selectism, South Lane and Teranishi.

This year Porsche and Liberty Fairs teamed up to offer transportation for retailers between the tradeshows in an effort to provide the highest level of service.  Six vehicles including the Panamera S E-Hybrid, Panamera Turbo S Executive and Cayenne GTS were stationed at the show.

Intelligenstia was on-site offering complimentary coffee, espresso and tea.  While Tuthill Town Spirits provided complimentary Gin and Vodka cocktails, Queen’s Brewery served beer on draught and in the spirit of New York, NY20 provided bottled water from the Catskills.
