The brand was created by two college friends: Sean Holmes and Dylan Roukous. Working two jobs while building their website (and Dylan sleeping on Sean’s couch), they officially launched in February of 2012. Starting out by building each and every pair of sunglasses by hand, Nectar Sunglasses has now grown to include distribution all over the U.S. and in 24 other countries.

With a goal of providing their customers a great pair of sunglasses at an affordable price point, they encourage everyone to get out, live the sweet life, and take risks. Prices range from $20-$30, so you can afford to break them, if say, for example, you were surfing while lit on fire. Should something happen to your Nectar Sunglasses along the way, you can replace them for only $10. per pair—for life.
