NFL To Continue Playing Regular Season Games in Mexico For Next 3 Years

After a successful game in the 2016, the NFL returned to Mexico City on November 19 for the confrontation of the Oakland Raiders against the New England Patriots at the epic Estadio Azteca. The New England Patriots came back home victorious with a final score of 33 over 8 for the Raiders.

Mexican singer Manuel “Mijares” was in charge of the interpretation of the Mexican National Anthem.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Tourism and the National Football League announced an agreement to play three regular season games of the NFL from 2019 to 2021, after having achieved positive results with the tourism and the presence of the Mexican brand through previous games of the NFL in Mexico.

Both parties will formalize the agreement at a later date. The current agreement covered the games of 2016, 2017 and 2018. The relationship with the League has served as a platform to significantly boost the tourism industry in Mexico,with fans taking advantage of the opportunity to expand their trips and explore the country.
