T-Mobile and Samsung Explore Virtual Reality through Times Square Takeover

T-Mobile painted Times Square magenta with a day-long event allowing customers to experience virtual reality with Samsung’s Gear VR. The event, hosted at T-Mobile’s new Times Square Signature Store on Broadway and 46th Street, celebrated the launch of Samsung’s hot new Galaxy S7 and S7 edge superphones, now available everywhere. Attending the Times Square Takeover were actress Rosario Dawson, and popular blogger Perez Hilton.

Dawson, and Hilton, were given the opportunity to trial the ultimate “Reality Check,” a sneak peek of the latest Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, as well as virtual reality technology through the Samsung Gear VR powered by Oculus.
