SEXESTHETICS

Latin
America
has long been the go to destination for those looking for high quality
plastic surgery at a low cost. For years, men and women flock south of the
border to get the best deal on liposuction, implants, and other types of cosmetic
surgery. Now, through ‘SexEsthetics’ they’re paving
the way for something else Latinos are well known for: Good Sex

The
quest for the best possible sex through surgery, laser procedures, and
injections is one of the most groundbreaking undertakings by the medical field
that no one is talking about- until now. It all began when Cordelia Donovan,
president and owner of Cordelia Donovan Inc. in New York City, sat down with Dr. Marco
Pelosi  II, M.D.
of Bayonne, New Jersey
to discuss ways to get people talking about the controversial topic of genital
plastic surgery.

Both agreed there needed to be a term that was more aurally
pleasing, maybe one that didn’t include the word “surgery.” They went back and
forth trying to decide on a name before settling on one that Ms. Donovan
invented: SexEsthetics. The word was introduced at the World Congress of Female
& Male Cosmetic Genital Surgery
, which took place at the Venetian in Las
Vegas earlier this year.

Dr.
Marco Pelosi II, who hails from Peru and is President of the International
Society of Cosmetogynecology, brought together at the Congress the top
gynecologists, urologists, urogynocologists, and surgeons from around the
world, many of whom happen to be from Latin America. Among them were Oscar
Aguilera MD, and Jack Pardo MD, from Chile; Roberto Solis-Perez MD, from
Mexico; Jorge Gaviria Parada MD, from Venezuela; Oscar Aguirre MD, a second
generation Latin American who currently practices in Engelwood, Colorado; and
Adrian Gaspar MD, Alejandro Carbone MD, and Jorge Elias MD., who are all from
Argentina. According to Dr. Marco Pelosi III, who is a chairperson, this
meeting was “the first ever scientific meeting devoted exclusively to genital
cosmetics and aesthetics for both women and men.”

Although
not quite as popular (yet) as breast augmentation in women, the demand by men
to have their assets enlarged has grown significantly over the past decade.
According to the ISCG, there are two minimally invasive procedures that can be
performed to effectively enhance the size of a man’s penis: liposuction and microfat
grafting.

If you’ve ever heard someone claim that losing weight can increase
the size of your member, it’s partially true: when the amount of fat in the
pubic area is reduced, it creates the perception of a larger penis and allows
for deeper penetration for one’s partner.
While it’s not guaranteed that everyone who loses weight will lose it
primarily in their pelvic area, liposuction is a sure thing.

If obesity is not
an issue, microfat grafting may be suggested. This procedure entails harvesting
fat from another part of the body and injecting it under the skin. The penis is
then molded into the desired shape, generally resulting in a penis that is the
same length but with more girth; with microfat grafting, the circumference can
be increased by upwards of 50%.  To
achieve lasting results, a second injection is usually recommended about three
months after the first. Those who are concerned about months worth of celibacy
following the procedure needn’t fear: most patients are able to indulge in
sexual activity only two weeks after the fat transfer, and there is no loss of
sensation or ability to become erect.

The cost for a penile implant ranges from
$10,000 to $20,000, depending on geographic location and type of  surgery.
If the surgery is being performed to correct a certain medical
condition, there is a chance it can be covered by insurance.

In
addition to aesthetic surgery, the Congress covered procedures that remedy
hindrances to a robust sex life, such as erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence.
While these issues are things that most men are loathe to think about, the
truth is that  at some time in their
lives, it’s very likely that they will be grappling with one of them.

And when
that time comes, they will be grateful for the top-notch SexEsthetics experts
that Latin America has produced. Potential patients can visit  http://www.iscgyn.com
to locate a licensed physician anywhere in the United States or Latin America.
