Hyundai’s GENESIS R-SPEC

In 2011,
Hyundai took the USA by storm with the introduction of its uber luxurious
Equus. 2011 also marked the year the Korean auto manufacturer took its
rightful place as the world

Visually set
off by a rather stately grill, dark chrome inserts around the Xenon headlamps
with dazzling LED daytime running lights and a sexy set of 19-inch rims, the
Genesis at the new 5.0 R-Spec trim level can easily be described in two words:
Power and glory.

At the base
price of $46,500, it shares the same 429 horsepower, 5-liter V8 engine with
direct fuel injection and in-house designed eight-speed automatic transmission
as the $59,000 – $66,000 base priced Equus. And at $10,000 less than Equus,
Genesis still handles superfluously
