Casino of the Wind, a definite challenge for the designers since it’s hardly
possible to depict Wind. Indeed they did create a special windy mood there,
especially with a pretty cool animated water wall.

Casino of the Earth which may be called the patriarch is mainly known because
of the Wolf Den entertainment stage. This is one of the highlights at Mohegan
Sun. Aside from gaming guests can relax and enjoy great music, without a cover
charge, along with nonstop drinks.

RESTAURANTS
Mohegan
Sun is also about the restaurants! With lots of choices you can select
something casual all the way up to fine dining. For delicious sandwiches,
burgers and grill specialties stop by Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. It’s perfect
for lunch since the ambiannce feels like a breath of fresh air and energizes you
for the rest of the day!

Be sure to seat next to a window and take in the beautiful
view.

No matter what don’t skip Soup of the Day. It’s truly magnificent. For a
more substantial dish try the BBQ Ribs, a slow cooked half rack of baby back
ribs grilled and served with French fries. Choose between South Pacific or spicy
Guava BBQ sauce. That dish is amazingly delicious and please don’t blame
yourself if at some point you catch yourself thinking of saving some for later.
Another option are the Chicken Wings, regular or boneless, tossed with Buffalo,
Jamaica Mistaica, or Thai chili sauce. It is served with veggie sticks and
appropriate dipping sauce. From our observation the most popular dish among the
starters is Volcano Nachos topped with chili, cheese, guacamole, sour cream,
jalapenos, tomato and scallions. We couldn’t begin to count how many orders of
those nachos we saw during our meal.

If you’re
in the mood for seafood, don’t think twice and go to Jasper White’s Summer
Shack. It’s a pretty cool place and another great stop for a lunch. Delicious
crabs, lobsters and shrimps, tasteful fried calamari and much more is waiting
for you! The place is casual enough but serves absolutely savory dishes!

For an
evening meal you would of course like to go to a place with elegant and
sophisticated atmosphere. Ballo Restaurant is your choice, offering
fine Italian cuisine. It’s classy and breathes beauty and harmony. Looking at
the menu, you can find traditional Italian dishes. We highly recommend Tagliatelly
Pasta with shrimps, cherry tomatoes and radicchio. It’s more than just
delightful. The spaghetti itself melts in your mouth and the combination of
additional ingredients just makes it heavenly.

Ballo serves lunch and dinner but
comes alive with a Late Night menu on Friday and Saturday nights! At that point
the restaurant is transformed into a sexy lounge with cocktails, lights and beautiful
dancers on the windows platforms. You don’t want to miss it! Apart from this
restaurant, Mohegan Sun has a plenty of other places to visit or just grab some
snacks, dessert or drinks. Speaking of drinks – don’t forget to try a milk
shake at Johnny Rockets!

Mohegan
