Noche Buena Celebrations With Marcello Hernández And Buchanan’s Whisky

With celebrations hitting the high notes as we get closer and closer to Christmas, Buchanan’s Whisky held a party in New York City that will easily remain as one of the best of the year.
Hosted by SNL alum Marcello Hernández the night featured profesional ballroom dancers showing how it’s done, and getting everyone on their feet, and DJ Bembona spinning tracks that had guests dancing all night long.
There bottle personalization, plenty of Instagrammable spots, and of course, curated cocktails reminiscent of holidays back home – such as the Buchanan’s Coquito.

All said, the evening will for surely go down as a Noche Buena celebration to remember!
As part of the brand’s Holiday Campaign, Hernández also announced a donation on his behalf of $50,000 from Buchanan’s 200% Futuro Fund to the Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation.

Buchanan’s Coquito
Here’s a twist on a traditional Caribbean classic.
Coquito, often hailed as Puerto Rico’s answer to eggnog, gets a twist with Buchanan’s 12-Year DeLuxe Blended Scotch Whisky.
This recipe serves 14, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
21 oz Buchanan’s 12-Year DeLuxe Blended Scotch Whisky
15 oz Coconut Cream
13.5 oz Coconut Milk
12 oz Evaporated Milk
14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 tbsp Cinnamon
Garnish: Grated Nutmeg
Glassware: Rocks Glass
Preparations
Mix, chill, and serve.
Combine all the ingredients into a large serving pitcher and stir.
Pour the mixture over ice in a rocks glass and garnish with a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg.
Buchanita
Buchanan’s 12-Year Whisky with a tiki twist — best sipped from a hollowed-out pineapple.
Ingredients
1.5 oz Buchanan’s 12-Year-Old DeLuxe Blended Scotch Whisky
5 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice
Fresh Orange Slice for Garnish
Fresh Pineapple Slice for Garnish
Preparation
Combine Buchanan’s 12-Year-Old DeLuxe Whisky and fresh pineapple juice into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake well.
Strain contents into a Highball glass or hollowed-out pineapple over fresh ice.
Garnish with a fresh orange slice and fresh pineapple slice.
It’s piña, it’s bubbly, and a little spicy. Need we say more?

1.5 oz Buchanan’s Pineapple
4 oz mineral water
Tajín rim
Lime wedge garnish
Preparation
Rim highball glass with Tajín.
Pour Buchanan’s Pineapple into highball glass over ice and top with mineral water.
Garnish with a lime or pineapple wedge.
