It’s official!  HOMBRE poster boy and Billboard Latin Music Award winner Pitbull will headline the musical lineup at the Seventh Annual Premios Fox Sports. 
The event celebrates the accomplishments of U.S. Hispanic and Latin American athletes both on and off the field.  Voted on by fans and a panel of judges, winners will be crowned during the awards ceremony on December 10, 2009 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida and telecast live through Fox Sports en Español in the U.S. and Fox Sports Latin America south of the border.

“We’re tremendously excited to welcome Pitbull to the Premios Fox Sports family,” said Patrick Ilabaca, vice president of event marketing for Fox Pan American Sports LLC.  “I am certain that his dynamic vibe and high-energy performance will not only amp up the fans, but also catapult Premios Fox Sports to new heights as one of the most anticipated television events of the year.”

Recognized for his many achievements in the music industry, Pitbull currently has chart-topping hits including “Hotel Room Service” and “Calle Ocho,” and is the host of “La Esquina” on mun2.  Rounding out the evening’s musical line-up will be Puerto Rican singer/songwriter and Latin Grammy-winner Kany Garcia performing her latest single “Feliz,” and the world television debut of cumbia music group Nando & Solja Kingz.

Celebrity presenters and guests confirmed to attend include actress and television personality Daisy Fuentes, actor Wilmer Valderama, recording artist and composer LENA, singer and songwriter Claudio Corsi, and Mexican soccer superstar Chuatemoc Blanco.
