Venezuelan born Juan Jose Rendon is responsible for the election of two presidents, in two countries, within 8 months. He managed and designed the campaign of President Porfirio Lobo Sosa in Honduras, and led Juan Manuel Santos to the presidency of Colombia.

J.J. was brought onto the campaign with only 21 days until the primary election. In some pre-election polls Santos was trailing by as much as 10% at the time. The new President dominated that primary and then won the election with 69% of the vote.

In less than a year, J.J. catapulted two of his clients to the presidency, fortifying democracy in Latin America.

Rendon was hired to give the “U” Party of Colombia a complete turnaround. He’s credited with re-energizing the party and helping Santos focus his message on the generation of economic and job growth, a move which placed him in top standing with the Colombian people. Rendon also helped mobilize the campaign through the internet, more specifically using social-networking sites such as Facebook.

Years ago, the Venezuelan political specialist worked successfully alongside President Alvaro Uribe to help launch the “U” Party, which later became a platform for Santos.

Rendon, who has a home in Miami, is a firm believer in democracy for Latin America and wants to stop other countries from falling into the influence of so-called, “Chavismo.” The 46-year-old brilliant political mind has managed 22 political campaigns, of which he’s won 20 in more than 20 Latin American countries. J.J. has spent more than 20 successful years in politics. He has been dubbed the “Guru’ of Latin American Politics.

Rendon studied publicity, marketing and psychology in Venezuela and Italy, and has worked as a university professor and a lecturer.
