Miami Swim Week The Shows 2023 will return with its biggest and most exciting edition yet from July 3rd to July 10th with over 50 public and industry events and 100 veteran and emerging designers. The main event – the runway shows – will start on July 5th at the SLS South Beach and will debut the Splash Lounge – a VIP experience for industry guests.

The largest swim and resort wear gathering in the world will feature a star-studded lineup of national and international designers, models, and celebrities and will include new initiatives such as Miami Swim Week 1st Upcycle Worldwide Design Competition, an eco-friendly trade show – Hammock Trade Show, a fundraising show to benefit The Little Lighthouse Foundation (LLF), and curated pop-up experiences from influencer parties, luncheons, dinners, VIP receptions, and industry events, to wellness and fitness activations scattered across multiple venues including W South Beach, National Hotel, Nautilus by Arlo, Showfields, Emanuel Luxury Venue Miami Beach, Hyde Beach, Medium Cool, Red Steakhouse, Seaspice, Strings Miami Beach, The Deck at the Island Gardens, and more.

Miami Swim Week The Shows will showcase the best in swimwear fashion, highlighting inclusivity and sustainability. “We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting ethical and responsible fashion. This season we are opening up our platform to several emerging designers to share the stage at Miami Swim Week”’ said Moh Ducis, Founder & CEO of the official Miami Swim Week The Shows. One of the highlights this year is the Splash Lounge at the SLS South Beach which will serve as an exclusive space for VIPs, media, buyers, designers, and influencers, where they will be able to connect, mingle and exchange their industry impressions and insights. Experts’ panelists will discuss the latest trends and spot outstanding talent, while selected designers will present their stories to the media in an elegant setting.

This season Miami Swim Week The Shows, the largest swim and resort wear festival in the world is exploding with brands such as Ema Savahl, who will be opening the shows on July 5th, Liberty & Justice, one of the most recognized European swimwear brands Banana Moon, world-renowned beachwear brand Cupshe, Miami-based luxury lifestyle menswear brand Jared Lang, beachwear brand that creates timeless investment pieces 209 Mare, female-led brand inspired by the beauty of nature Tiare Hawaii, luxury swimwear brand Paola Estefania, global fashion and lifestyle brand Nicole Miller will be holding a show on July 7th at 7:45 PM at SLS South Beach, fashionable swim and beachwear brand Maaji will be opening the shows on July 9th at 6:30 PM.
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit makes its return to W South Beach with a high-energy runway show on July 7th and in addition to the show, the celebrated magazine will host a series of activations, gifting suites, and events throughout the weekend. Miami Swim Week The Shows will also present brands in collectives such as LGBTQ, emerging, sustainable, best of Brazil, and more.

Love for Upcycling, a community founded by Jose Alexzander and dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and sustainability through the art and creativity of recycling, has invited currently enrolled design students to create swimwear and resort wear pieces made of 95 percent recycled materials. Six finalists will be chosen among the most popular on social media and six will be selected by a jury. |
The best 12 designs will be showcased during Miami Swim Week The Shows at SLS South Beach. 

Hammock Show

Another key element this year is the Hammock Trade Show, an eco-friendly trade event that connects niche brands with fashion buyers and retailers across the globe. The event will be held from July 8th through July 10th at Emanuel Luxury Venue Miami Beach. Additionally, Casa Hammock Showroom, the wholesale swim and resort wear incubator located at Strings Miami Beach, serves as a unique concept tailored to support emerging designers and small businesses in overcoming the challenges of entering the market.
“As a prominent figure in the fashion industry, we understand the difficulties entrepreneurs face, and our showroom incubator offers a physical space for them to showcase their latest collections and connect with potential buyers.

For the second year in a row, Miami Swim Week The Shows will kick off with a fundraising show to benefit The Little Lighthouse Foundation (LLF) on July 5th at 8 pm at SLS South Beach.   100 percent of all proceeds will support the nonprofit organization that assists underserved children and their families throughout South Florida. Little Lighthouse Foundation has over 20 proprietary programs with 33 partner facilities, including, but not limited to, homeless shelters, hospitals, and youth centers.

With Miami Swim Week focusing on environmental impact, sustainable brands are lining up to sponsor.  Kopu, the domestic sustainable luxury bottled water brand has a sleek designer bottle made of one of the most recyclable materials in the world – aluminum – which weighs 80% less than equivalent-sized glass bottles, this results in proportionately less greenhouse gas emissions.
MASAMI – the clean premium hair care brand infused with Mekabu, a Japanese ocean botanical that’s all about weightless hydration – is committed to continuing to improve their sustainability practices and find ways to reduce their environmental impact.
Founder & CEO of MASAMI Lynn Power is also the founder of Conscious Beauty Collective, a group of indie beauty brands.

The Miami Swim Week will open to fashion enthusiasts and art collectors through a series of unique all-access NFTs and digital collectibles curated by Laboratoire X. These digital artworks will grant collectors access to shows, the Splash Lounge, and select events including the opening and closing parties.
