While many superstars are branching into the alcohol market, pop sensation Wyclef Jean is launching his first-ever electric supercar, the Attucks Apex AP0. As a triumph of form and function, the AP0 specs include top speeds of 190 mph, 0-60 mph acceleration in 2.3 seconds, and a 650 bhp rear-mounted electric motor with 580 Nm of torque.

Supercar Rooms Miami is the world’s first members-only Auto Art Gallery and Curators of Automotive Interactive Experiences are joining in collaboration with the Fugee superstar in launching his first-ever supercar.

Wyclef Jean’s car will mark the official US debut for Attucks Apex AP0 at Amelia by Hagerty Concourse D Elegances on March 5 at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island Country and Golf Course at 1:30 p.m.

The Grammy Award winner’s love for the automotive industry has grown from a hobby to a major collector. Wyclef Jean’s collection of cars encompasses most collectors’ worldwide wish lists. Jean was the first American to import a McLaren F1 and Pagani Zonda to the US, amongst several other supercars he has owned in the past. He is also well known for his super famous Spider-Man motorcycle built by
Orange County Choppers.

After years of collecting supercars, it is natural that Jean is taking the next step from collector to creating his own car with a partner Elo, Owner of Supercarrooms Miami. The partnership brings the launch of their automotive future and technology brand Attucks.
Attucks’ future and technology is a platform to voice and create dreams in the community, headquartered in Little Haiti, Miami. This platform will be responsible for discovering, grooming, and developing technology, starting with inventions, technological solutions, sustainability, creativity and design, coding, and web3.

On Sunday, March 5,  Jean and Elo will showcase the US debut of the first-ever African American supercar brand Attucks Apex AP0, by Wyclef Jean. Attuck Apex AP0 Specs include Drive train EV, Designed in the UK, Prototype manufactured by Apex motors Hong Kong, and Production assembly.

The unit price starts from $350k and will be released winter 2024.  The AP0 has a claimed top speed of 190mph (306 km/h) and acceleration from 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds. It is powered by a 650 bhp rear-mounted electric motor with 580 Nm of torque and a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery.

Designed by Guy Colborne, the AP0 has a claimed kerb weight of 1200 kg due to the AP-0’s monocoque carbon chassis, with a modular spaceframe and a central spine for maximum rigidity. Meanwhile, the carbon fiber body panels wrap tightly around the tub while exposing
parts of the central construction.

The AP0 triumphs how form and function can be combined in one harmonious package. Supported by the Elemental design team, this begins with the front aerodynamic bodywork, which channels air underneath the car, behind the front wheels, along the body, and out below the large rear diffuser. The flat floor exploits ground effect principles, helping to pin the car to the ground for tremendous cornering ability.

This is aided by the low center of gravity provided by the 90kW floor-mounted battery pack. These features enable the AP0 to achieve a kerb weight of just 1,200kg. It is set to be the world’s lightest EV supercar to exist.

This incredible future supercar is also equipped with Wyclef Jean, enhanced music, and a sound experience. It is designed to be able to read your mood and play selections of sounds and songs to best fit your mood and give you maximum driving experience. This feature will be exhibited at the launch for any wanting to enjoy this harmonious supercar and sound experience.

Additionally, on display at Amelia by Hagerty Concourse D Elegances, guests will get a glimpse of Attucks Cleftron, a concept motorcycle built by the Parker Brothers for Wyclef personally.
