As you know, healthcare start-ups are on the rise, and their mission is to change the American system, while making healthcare more accessible. A reported 987,000 New Yorkers have diabetes as of 2018, and 19% of them are undiagnosed. Meanwhile, cardiovascular disease is responsible for a third of all deaths in the U.S. every year, with approximately 1 American dying every 38 seconds of cardiovascular disease. LetsGetChecked is striving to make a difference.

LetsGetChecked wants to be a part of the solution with an activation to empower New Yorkers to start their health journey, and take control of their future by testing for two of the biggest killers in the U.S; cardiovascular disease and diabetes. The company has created The ‘Longevity Lab’ with experiential marketing agency, Sense New York that will take place on Thursday, November 1 at 198 Allen Street from 8.00am-8.00pm.

The launch will include special guest speakers who will be talking about the future of digital health, including UFC fighter TJ Dillashaw, discussing the importance of tracking, monitoring and improving your health as a professional athlete. LetsGetChecked U.S. Medical Director, Dr. Robert Mordkin and his medical team will be on site to administer complimentary tests and educate consumers on at home testing and the importance of self-care. Guests will also receive a complimentary at-home personal health test.

LetsGetChecked is the medical technology platform that helps track, monitor and improve your health from home, or on the go. The ‘Longevity Lab’ aims to empower consumers to start their health journey through at-home testing and easy access to online, personal results.
