What began as a small buffalo-style chicken wing restaurant in Garland, Texas, continues to soar to great heights. Today there are more than 1,100 Wingstop restaurants open across the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, UK, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. And now the brand has introduced two, brand new flavors – Ancho Honey Glaze and Harissa Lemon Pepper – only available today through September 1.
1997 saw the opening of the first franchised Wingstop location, and by 2002 they had served the world one billion wings. It’s the flavor that has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry. The Ancho Honey Glaze is infused with smoky dried Ancho peppers from southern Mexico and the heat of aged cayenne, this hot honey glaze has a mouth-tingling fire that fans will be sweet on.The other new flavor is Harissa Lemon Pepper, a new taste that answers the call from loyal fans to introduce a spicier sister to Wingstop’s most popular flavor, Lemon Pepper. It’s a fusion inspired by traditional North African spices, marrying exotic Harissa pepper paste and roasted bell peppers with the zesty brightness of lemon.
The two new offerings, inspired by flavors from around the world, join Wingstop’s lineup of 11 original flavors and will be available nationwide. Fans can order Harissa Lemon Pepper and Ancho Honey Glaze wings in-store, online, or using the Wingstop app.
