Light Up Your July 4th Weekend With These Patriotic Cocktails

Hotdogs, pool parties and the American flag – Independence Day weekend is finally here! Whether on a rooftop, at the beach or hosting your own backyard BBQ, here are six perfectly patriotic cocktail recipes that will bring some serious July 4th inspo to your taste buds!

Berry’s Bootcamp (above)

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio Blanco

1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

1 oz Agave Nectar

1 oz Water

Fresh Blueberries

Fresh Strawberries

Fresh Raspberries

Preparation:

Muddle or macerate fresh berries into rocks glass

Combine Tequila Don Julio Blanco, fresh lemon juice, agave nectar, and water into cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.

Strain contents into rocks glass with berries over fresh ice.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz Oban 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

4 oz Lemonade

Club Soda to top

Fresh Mint

Lemon Wheel

Preparation:

Combine Oban 14 Year Old and lemonade into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.

Strain contents into a highball glass with fresh ice. Top with club soda.

Garnish with fresh mint and a lemon wheel

Baileys Almande Beach Watermelon
(Serves 4)

Ingredients:
8 oz Baileys Almande Almondmilk Liqueur
6 oz Watermelon Juice
2 oz Coconut Water
2 cups of Ice

Watermelon Slice for garnish

Preparation:

1 Combine Baileys Almande, watermelon juice, coconut water, and ice into a punch bowl. Stir well.
2 Garnish with Watermelon Slice

Glassware: Punchbowl

Garnish: Watermelon slices

Mint Sparkler

Ingredients:

1.25 oz Johnnie Walker Red Label

¼ oz Blue curacao

4 oz Ginger Ale

2 Dashes lemon bitters

Preparation:

Add all ingredients in a highball glass, add ice and stir for 2 seconds.

Garnish: Mint Sprig

Glass: Highball

Grapefruit T&T

Ingredients:

1.25 oz Tanqueray No. TEN

.75 oz Grapefruit Juice

Tonic Water (to top)

Glassware: Copa Glass

Garnish:

Grapefruit Wheel

Long Grapefruit Peel

Floral Garnish:

Grapefruit Peel

Tarragon

Orange Crocosmia

Preparation: Add grapefruit wheel to inside of glass. Add ice to glass with Tanqueray No. TEN and grapefruit juice. Top with tonic water. Peel circumference of whole grapefruit and fold into a repeating “S” shape. Skewer shape with floral garnish and add to glass.

Summer Bonfire

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz Buchanan’s 12-Year-Old DeLuxe

¾  oz Fresh Lemon Juice

½  oz Simple Syrup

Top with Ginger Beer

Preparation:

Combine Buchanan’s 12-Year-Old DeLuxe, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.

Strain contents into a highball glass over fresh ice.

Fill to top with ginger beer.

Glass: Highball

Garnish: Strawberries, Fresh Rosemary Sprig
