Say ‘Bye To Summer With These Creative Labor Day Cocktails

The unofficial end to summer is upon us, but there’s still time to get in a few last summer-inspired sips before it does. Send the season out with one of these Instagram-worthy cocktails from Tanqueray, Johnnie Walker, Don Julio, and Buchanan’s. Not only do they look good, but they’re just the cool, crisp, delicious drink you need to say goodbye to summer.

Garden Party T&T  (above)

Ingredients:
1.25oz Tanqueray No. TEN
Tonic Water
Lime wheels (x4)

Method: Add three lime wheels to inside of a Copa glass. Add ice to glass with Tanqueray No. TEN. Top with tonic water. Place floral garnish through center of lime wheel and fasten to rim of glass.

Garnish: Rosemary, Yellow Kangaroo Paw, Purple Orchid, Salvia

Al Fresco Collins

Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Johnnie Walker Black Label
1.5 oz Elderberry Soda
1.5 oz Ginger Beer

Method: Build in glass. Pour Scotch, elderberry soda, and ginger beer into an ice filled Collins glass. Squeeze in a lemon wedge and stir gently.

Garnish: Lemon wedge

Blender’s Choice

Ingredients:
1 oz Buchanan’s 18-Year-Old Special Reserve Blended Scotch Whisky
3/4 oz Sweet Vermouth
1/4 oz Maraschino Cherry Juice
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
1 Dash Absinthe
Lemon Peel for garnish

Method: Combine Buchanan’s 18-Year-Old Special Reserve, sweet vermouth, maraschino cherry juice, angostura bitters, and absinthe into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.

Strain contents into a Coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon peel.

 Night Gathers

Ingredients(serves 4):
5 oz Talisker 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
1 oz Italian Aperitif
4 oz Lemonade
4 oz Coconut Water
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Cranberry Juice 

Method: Combine Talisker 10 Year Old, Italian Aperitif, lemonade, coconut water, fresh lemon juice, and cranberry juice into a pitcher with fresh ice. Stir well.

Garnish: orange wheels, lemon wheels, and edible flowers.

Oh Kale Yes!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio Blanco
3/4 oz Fresh Kale Juice
1/3 oz Fresh Ginger Juice
3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
3/4 oz Agave Nectar
Chili salt for glass rims

Method: Combine Tequila Don Julio Blanco, fresh kale juice, fresh ginger juice, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain contents into rocks glass rimmed with chili salt over fresh ice.

Garnish: Chili Salt
