Spice it Up on Cinco de Mayo with a Diablo Cocktail from Don Papa Rum

Add some spice to your Cinco de Mayo celebrations this year by sipping on a refreshingly festive cocktail with a kick from Don Papa Rum – the first super-premium rum from the majestic island of “Sugarlandia” in the Philippines.

Turn things up a notch and transform your gathering into the ultimate party with a delicious and easy-to-make Don Papa Rum cocktail. The Diablo en la Pista de Baile is made with ingredients such as guava juice, chili, and agave. This spicy beverage created by Mixologist Tomas Delos Reyes (Standard Hotel Bar, Jeepney Restaurant) will be sure to get you in the fiesta mood.

Diablo en la Pista de Baile
Ingredients: 

1 1/2oz Don Papa Rum

1/2oz Reposado tequila 

3/4oz Guava juice

1 thin disc of Serrano Chili

1/2oz Lime

1/2oz Agave.

Method: Muddle chili disc in shaker. Pour in Don Papa, tequila, guava juice, lime and agave. Add ice and shake. Strain into rocks glass w fresh ice. Garnish w lime wheel.
