Revitalized Wollman Rink NYC Opens With New Café

Wollman Rink in Central Park has long been an historic New York institution and has been revitalized to once again make it a pillar of the community. Now led by Wollman Park Partners (WPP), Wollman Rink will have at its heart community, accessibility and inclusivity.

On top of a lively new look, Wollman Rink will boast a number of food and beverage options with the opening of Wollman Café. Catering and hospitality events company Great Performances alongside the rink’s exclusive F&B partner, Harlem’s iconic Melba’s, have developed a culinary program that reflects the rink’s dedication to inclusivity and community.

The menu focuses on simple foods while also incorporating authentic ingredients and flavors that reflect a broad spectrum of cultural traditions to ensure “something for everyone.” The opening menu includes: soups, various handhelds, wood-fired pizzas, classic snacks like salted pretzel nuggets, brunch fare and a number of grab and go options. There will also be Melba’s Mac & Cheese and a Taste of Melba’s plate.
