Here’s something different, cocktails created especially for HER with a name she knows; Skinnygirl. But we didn’t forget about you, Sauza and Hornitos Tequilas have you covered. Score some points by showing her you care about her drinks, while never neglecting your needs! Feliz Navidad y Prospero Año Nuevo!
Maple Syrup Martini
· 2 parts Skinnygirl Bare Naked Vodka
· 2 parts club soda
· Dollop of warm maple syrup
Preparation: Shake vodka and maple syrup together with ice. Top with club soda and pour into martini glass.
Holiday Hot Toddy
· 1 ½ parts Skinnygirl Bare Naked Vodka
· 1 tsp agave nectar
· 1 part boiling water
· 3 whole cloves
· 1 cinnamon stick
· 1 lemon wedge
· Pinch of ground nutmeg
Preparation: Pour the agave nectar, boiling water and vodka into a mug. Add cloves, cinnamon and the lemon wedge. Allow the mixture to steep for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with a pinch of nutmeg before serving andenjoy!
Candy Cane Martini
· 1 part Skinnygirl Bare Naked Vodka
· 1 part Peppermint Schnapps
· 1 part fat-free sweetened condensed milk
· Mini candy cane for garnish
Preparation: Shake liquids with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with mini candy cane.
PARA EL – From Hornitos Tequila
· 1 ½ parts Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila
· 1 part Campari Liqueur
· ¼ part Sweet Vermouth
· 2 parts Seltzer
· Dash of orange bitters
Preparation: Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass. Serve in an old fashioned glass. Garnish with an orange peel or slice.
· 1 ½ parts Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila
· 1 ½ parts coffee liqueur
· ¼ part vanilla syrup *
· 1 part heavy cream
*To make vanilla syrup, mix together 1 part sugar, 1 part water and 1 part vanilla extract. Bring to a boil and cool before serving(approximately 1-2 minutes)
Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a glass and serve
· 1 ½ parts Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila
· ¾ part apple cider
· ¾ part cinnamon syrup *
· 1 part lemon juice
· 2 dashes Angostura® Bitters
· 2 parts water
*To make cinnamon syrup: Mix together 1 part sugar, 1 part water and 4 crushed cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil (approximately 1-2 minutes). Once cooled down, strain into a glass.
Preparation: Combine all ingredients together and serve. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and an apple wedge. Can be served hot or cold.
FOR YOU & HER – From Sauza Tequila
Mexican Eggnog
1 part Sauza Blue Reposado 100% Agave Tequila
1 part Maker’s Mark Bourbon
3 parts egg nog
Dash of cinnamon
Preparation: In a shaker filled with ice combine egg nog, tequila and bourbon. Shake to combine and serve chilled with a dash of cinnamon on top.
Chocolate Peppermint Margarita
1 ½ parts Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
½ part peppermint schnapps
6 parts milk
1 part hot chocolate powder
Candy cane
Preparation: In a shaker filled with ice, combine all ingredients and shake. Pour into your most festive glass and garnish with a candy cane.
Cranberry Margarita
1 ½ parts Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
½ part JDK & Sons O3 Premium Orange Liqueur
1 part cranberry puree
Sanding sugar for garnish
Cranberry Puree:
½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice, about 2 oranges
½ cup sugar
4 ounce package of fresh cranberries
Preparation:
To make the cranberry puree: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar in the orange juice. Add the cranberries and cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Set aside and let it cool. Blend cranberries in a blender, then strain.
In a shaker add crushed ice, 1 ½ part of Sauza Blue Silver, ½ part of JDK & Sons O3 Premium Orange Liqueur, 1 part cranberry puree and shake to mix. Pour drink into a sugar rimmed martini glass.
