Add A Little Tequila To Your Valentine’s Day Celebrations

Love is always worth celebrating, whether you’re toasting to a newfound relationship, rekindling an old one, or just celebrating your life-long friendships, here are a few perfectly themed pink and red cocktails that will surely help set the mood this Valentine’s Day.

This year celebrate love with a tequila cocktail. For 100 years, Tequila Cazadores, has been committed to making real tequila for real people.

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. Tequila Cazadores Blanco

.75 oz. Bonal Gentiane Quina

.50 oz. Pedro Ximénez Sherry

1 dash Saline

Method: Combine ingredients into a mixing glass, stir  until chilled, serve in a Nick and Nora glass, and  garnish with orange peel.

Rosita (SINGLE) Crafted by Manny Hinojosa
Ingredients:

1 ½ oz. Tequila Cazadores Blanco

1 oz. Lychee Puree

½ oz. Rose Water

½ oz. Agave Syrup

2 oz. Sparkling Wine

Method: In a cocktail shaker with ice combine all the  ingredients except sparkling wine, shake vigorously  and serve in a chilled cocktail glass, top with sparkling  wine.

Mexi-Politan Crafted by Manny Hinojosa 

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz. Tequila Cazadores Blanco

¾ oz. Patron Citronge – Orange Liqueur

¾ oz. Fresh Lime Juice

2 oz. Homemade Hibiscus Flower Tea*

Method: In a cocktail shaker combine all the ingredients with ice,  shake and serve up in a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with an orange slice.

*Hibiscus Tea Recipe: In a large pot add 1 full cup of dried  hibiscus flower, 3 cups of water, boil for a few minutes, let that cool  off and the hibiscus tea is ready to use.

Inspiration: After making thousands of the famous cosmopolitan  cocktails in Manny’s many years bartending in multiple bars and  cities, he decided to make a cocktail that looks like the  Cosmopolitan but changing some of the ingredients and bringing  his heritage and his favorite flavors to this cocktail and the result  was a very tasty Tequila Cosmo with hibiscus tea.

​​Raspberry Tequila Spritz Crafted by Alan Rusega-Pelayo

Ingredients:

1.5oz Tequila Cazadores Reposado

1 oz. Lychee Juice (from canned lychee)

¼ oz. Fresh Lime Juice

5 Raspberries

1 pinch Kosher Salt

2 oz. Martini & Rossi Rosé

Method: Muddle raspberries in the bottom of a wine glass. Add ice  cubes. Pour in all remaining ingredients. Top with Rosé and stir  gently. Garnish with a lime wheel and raspberry

Tribal Elder Margarita Crafted by Donna Francis

Ingredients:

2 oz. Tequila Cazadores Blanco

1/2 oz. St-Germain

1/8 oz. Clarified Fresh Lemon Juice

Hibiscus Tea Foam

Method: Combine the Cazadores, St-Germain and  lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and  pour into a martini glass, and top with the hibiscus tea  foam on top.

Winter Hibiscus Margarita
Ingredients:

1 ½ Tequila Cazadores Reposado

1 oz. Homemade Hibiscus Syrup

½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice

½ oz. Agave Nectar

Cinnamon Sugar Rim

Method: In a cocktail shaker combine all the  ingredients with ice, shake and serve over the ice in a  Margarita glass. Cinnamon sugar on the rim and  garnish with lime wheel.

Cranberry Smash Crafted by Manny Hinojosa

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz. Tequila Cazadores Blanco

½ oz. Disaronno

1 oz. Cranberry Puree

1 sprig of Fresh Mint

½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice

½ oz. Simple Syrup

2 oz. Cranberry Juice

Method: In a cocktail shaker, combine all the  ingredients with ice and shake vigorously. Serve over  ice, and garnish with a lime twist and cranberry.

Prickly Pear & Agave Margarita Crafted by Manny Hinojosa

Ingredients:

1 1/2 parts Tequila Cazadores Blanco

¼ oz. St. Germain

1 oz. lime juice

3/4 oz. agave nectar

1 oz. Fresh Prickly Pear Puree

Manny’s Salt Rim

Method: In a mixing glass, add all the ingredients with ice, shake and serve on the rocks (salt rim optional). Garnish with a lime wedge.
