If working around the clock has become second nature for you, it’s time for a mini-vacation. Now, we’re not talking about The Hangover Part III type of action but rather a more sophisticated approach to connecting with old chums over a glass of Tavola “75”  inside The Cloister, one of the most gorgeous resorts in the world. Combined with a Rolls-Royce ride it’s sure to be a weekend to remember.

GETTING THERE
You can find this Five-Star historic hotel on Sea Island, a private sanctuary that sits on Georgia’s southern coast. Located midway between Savannah and Jacksonville, book a flight to either Savannah/Hilton Head International or to Jacksonville International Airport (Sea Island is about 60 miles south, and north, of each airport, respectively).

Once you land, there will be no need to call Uber for a ride to the property. Arrive in style when you rent a Rolls-Royce Wraith. The super-sexy (think fastback design, two-tone color), sporty (it has a 624 brake horsepower and goes from zero to 60 in 4.4 seconds) and comfortable luxury vehicle (sink your toes into its lambs wool carpeting) is what you and your buddies should go for. You’ll fit right in with the crowd as many Sea Island residents are also Rolls-Royce proprietors.

After you’ve checked into The Cloister’s 1,730-square-foot Black Banks Suite (think two bedrooms, a living room, two-and-a-half bathrooms, wraparound balcony), head to Tavola to fill up on Italian favorites such as gnocci con astice (potato dumpling, truffle cream, butter poached lobster), risotto (rabbit confit, blood orange, soffritto, Castelvetrano olives), fungi pazzo (porcini garlic sauce, pioppini mushrooms, mozzarella, mushroom “croccante,” ricotta salata, truffle oil), capesante (scallops wrapped in speck, sunchoke purée, truffle butter, brussels sprout leaves) and more.

While indulging in chef de cuisine Robert Reynaud’s palate pleasing dishes, you and the guys can discuss tomorrow’s activities.

Start the next day off by sending a text message—not to your spouse, though. Text concierge and have someone on the team place a room service order for you and the crew. Choose from items such as maple French toast bread pudding with berries and vanilla-ginger maple syrup to southern fried chicken biscuits accompanied by a chili-infused local honey with grits. But don’t fill up too much on breakfast because the morning belongs to quality time spent at the Sea Island Shooting School. Talk trash with your pals during a one-hour clay target shooting group lesson with a seasoned instructor. The school, which has been around for almost 90 years, offers something for beginners and experts alike. It has a five-stand sporting clay field, two skeet ranges, a trap field and more.

After you’ve hit a few targets, take a 35-minute drive with the boys over to Jekyll Island. You’ll want to switch vehicles and hop in a Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II—carpooling has never been so chic. And it certainly doesn’t hurt to be inside of an attention-grabbing car (drop-top, anyone?) that owns the road. Thanks to its satellite navigation system, which includes 3D mapping with landscape topography, this extravagant automobile ensures you won’t get lost. Bring a lunch (if requested, the folks at The Market will pack one for your group) and sit on the boardwalk or snag a picnic table while admiring the sand-packed beaches and sharing crazy college stories with your amigos.

Sea Island Rolls-Royce for HOMBRE 10THE SPA
When it’s all said and done, head back to The Cloister for some relaxation time at the property’s 65,000-square-foot spa. Schedule the 60- or 90-minute Handsome, Not Rugged gentlemen’s facial or the 85-minute Rock Your Body hot stone massage. Afterward, hangout with your friends as you lounge around barefoot in the atrium where slabs of flagstone and the sound of trickling water helps you to unwind even more. (Tip: don’t bypass getting a cup of Harney & Sons Dragon Pearl Jasmine tea, either. It’ll push you right back into the calming Zen-like state you experienced during your services.)

End the night at the only Five-Star restaurant in the state of Georgia, the Georgian Room. Throw on one of your Ermenegildo Zegna jackets and toast to the good life with the six-course Chef’s Tasting menu. Start with a tasty Cobb salad filled with heirloom tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon, eggs, pickled shallots and buttermilk. This first course comes with a glass of Louis Roederer, Rosé, Reims, Champagne, France 2008. As you move your way through seared scallops and foie gras, the fourth course offers up lamb fillet and belly with a baked potato. It’s paired with a glass of R. López de Heredia Vina Tondonia, Tempranillo Blend, Reserva, Rioja, Spain 2003.

Opt to savor dinner in the Georgian Room’s exclusive Georgian Room Library (the restaurant also has three other private dining spaces including the Chef’s Table, Private Dining Room, and the garden). It’s breathtaking with its white and blue hydrangeas, white tulips, dimly-lit candles, wooden bookcases filled with more than 4,000 tomes, leather armchairs and more.

Sea Island Rolls-Royce for HOMBRE 9And although you’ll be too stuffed to get out of your chair after the last course, you’ll want to because at 6 a.m., you’re going to take Wake Up Call, a 45-minute high-powered circuit cardio and strength training class on the second floor of the fitness center. Think you and the guys are up for the challenge?

After class, head to the fitness center cafe for its Energizer smoothie. It comes packed with spinach, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, pineapple, skim milk, Savannah Bee honey and Greek yogurt. The concoction will be just what you need before hitting the road in one of your Rolls-Royce rentals and heading back to the airport.

Perfect weekend with the boys? Yes. Ultimate luxury ride? Hell, yes.
