AUDI Hosts Celebrity Soccer Match

As soccer fever overtakes the nation once again with the Olympic Games and the International Champions Cup, Audi hosted a celebrity soccer pick-up match at New York City’s Chelsea Piers to celebrate. Among those attending were Sports Illustrated cover model Hailey Clauson, Olympic Hurdler, World Champion, and 2014 Olympic Bobsledder Lolo Jones, “Revenge” star Josh Bowman, Model Sigrún Eva Jónsdóttir, World Cup Champion and FC Bayern Legend Paul Breitner, and Major League Soccer players C.J. Sapong and Maurice Edu of the Philadelphia Union.

The event celebrated Audi’s partnership with Major League Soccer as well as the launch of the live Audi Player Index player tracker experience within the MLS App and MLS Match Center. In a fun twist, players wore custom LED jerseys that digitally displayed their own Audi Player Index score throughout the game.
