With award season in full swing and the Academy Awards coming up, (March 12th) – Milagro Tequila has the perfect recipes to celebrate.

Inspired by the world of Hollywood, Milagro Tequila Ambassador, Luis Lopez created two specialty cocktails just for the occasion. Whether throwing a viewing party with friends and family or just want to enjoy the theatrics with a fancy cocktail in hand, Milagro has you covered with the Meet Me At The Dolby and The Award Goes To cocktails.

The Award Goes To…
Created by Milagro Tequila West Coast Ambassador, Luis Lopez

 Ingredients:

• 1 part Milagro Reposado
• 2 part Champagne or Brut
• 2 parts Apple juice
• ¼ part Fresh lemon juice
• Garnish: Mint sprig
• Glass: flute or wine glass

Method: Add all ingredients into the shaker except for the bubbles. Shake for 5 seconds, strain into a champagne glass, top off with cold Champagne, garnish and enjoy.

For this cocktail I used Milagro Reposado for its soft notes of oak that balance very well with the taste of apples. Dorado
Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 Parts Milagro Select Silver or Milagro Silver
•  1/2 Part Agave Nectar*
•  1/2 Part Lemon Juice
•  Prosecco
•  Gold Flakes

Method: Pour all ingredients, except prosecco, into a Boston shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a champagne flute. Top with prosecco and garnish with gold flakes.

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ parts Milagro Silver
• 1 ½ parts Mango juice
• ½ part Fresh Lemon Juice
• ½ part Agave
• Garnish: Lemon wheel
• Glass type: Martini

Method: Add all ingredients into the shaker, shake for 10 seconds, strain into a martini glass, garnish and enjoy.
