Bud Light Seltzer Partners With LA Galaxy And Javier “Chicharito” Hernández In New Ad Campaign

In a brand-new partnership Bud Light Seltzer is joining forces with the LA Galaxy and Javier “Chicharito” Hernández. As part of the agreement the brand will become the exclusive hard seltzer of the LA Galaxy with Chicharito as an official ambassador. To kick things off, Bud Light Seltzer has released a new piece of creative starring the LA Galaxy striker – check it out here.

In the Spanish speaking spot, Chicharito compares the seltzer’s taste to his most glorious and notable moments on the field. On the ad’s debut Mexican forward says, “Since Bud Light Seltzer first launched, it has become my go to drink after a victory, and I am so excited to be part of this campaign. Bud Light Seltzer is the closest thing to glory you will ever taste, I would know.”

 To give fans another reason to cheer for the LA Galaxy and Chicharito in upcoming games, Bud Light will offer three lucky fans a virtual happy hour to “Sabe a Gloria” (taste the glory) of his win over a Bud Light Seltzer. If Chicharito scores during the game and the LA Galaxy come out on top, LA Galaxy fans can enter to win a virtual happy hour with Chicharito by tweeting #sabeagloria #sweepstakes. Chicharito shared the news in a recent Tweet to his fans.
