Canada Goose is launching a limited-edition, windwear jacket created in partnership with the FDNY Foundation – a new take on collaborations for the brand who has partnered with the likes of OVO, Concepts, and Vetements. The Bravest Coat, inspired by the traditional uniform worn by NYC firefighters on the front lines, pays homage to the tactical and functional design that protects these heroes on the job and serves to celebrate these brave men, women and their families.
All proceeds from this new style will benefit the FDNY Foundation – supporting key initiatives such as fire safety education, training programs and equipment needs. Born from a united commitment to functionality and rugged protection, it not only celebrates the men and women of the FDNY, but also New York City –home of the first-ever US Canada Goose store.
The coats represent 5 different local firehouses with special patches selected by the FDNY Foundation and designed by the men and women who work there.
With fireman-inspired jackets seen on the F/W18 runways of high-fashion labels such as Calvin Klein, Heron Preston, Undercover, Louis Vuitton, and Junya Watanabe, this new windwear style will have you ready for what is undoubtedly one of the hottest (no pun intended) trends of the upcoming season.
“The Bravest Coat” will be available for purchase beginning April 6th for $695 at Canada Goose retail locations in New York City, Toronto, London and Tokyo and on CanadaGoose.com
