Caribbean Cuisine Takes Over New York with RESERVEDnyc – Chefs of the Caribbean

Foodies rejoice! The second edition of RESERVEDnyc – Chefs of the Caribbean arrives in Manhattan this Thursday August 7. The event features acclaimed Caribbean chefs from some of the most highly regarded resorts and restaurants in the Caribbean, and New York City. Each chef will prepare 2-3 dishes and guests can sample the various stations while interacting with the chefs and discovering their specialties. The elegant evening also includes cocktails and a benefit charity silent auction. It all takes place in a 2 story penthouse and terrace with exceptional views located at 267 Fifth Avenue.
Proceeds will benefit 501c(3) registered organizations American Friends of Jamaica and the Caribbean Tourism Organization Foundation. Silent Auction items include vacation stays, limited edition autographed prints, Broadway tickets and designer garments.
Among the featured chefs is Veejoruth Purmessur, Executive Chef at Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa , St Lucia who will prepare some of the signature creations that have established him as a culinary master.

The contribution of $150 per person includes food and drink. Tables of eight (8) are also available at a cost of $1050.
