Celebrate Labor Day With Fresh Tequila Don Julio Cocktails

The summer may seem like it’s flying by but it’s definitely still beach weather. With daytime and nighttime soirees at an all-time high, do yourself and your guests a favor by whipping up a Tequila Don Julio cocktail that’s both delicious, but won’t ruin all of the hard work that goes into summer bods.

Enjoy any variant from the portfolio neat or on the rocks, or try your hand at a cocktail crafted with Tequila Don Julio and fresh, organic ingredients.

Try the Sandía Rocas created by LA mixologist Ben Scorah, or shake things up with the Prized Pomelo.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio Blanco

6 oz Fresh Pressed Watermelon Juice (seasoned with black pepper)

1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

Lemon Zest and Watermelon for Garnish

Preparation:

  1. Combine Tequila Don Julio Blanco, seasoned watermelon juice and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.
  2. Strain liquid over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
  3. Garnish with lemon zest and watermelon.

Prized Pomelo

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio Blanco

4 1/2 oz Health-Ade Original Kombucha

1 1/2 oz Fresh Pink Grapefruit Juice

1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice

1/4 oz Blue Agave Nectar

Pinch Jacobsen Sea Salt and Grapefruit Zest for Garnish

Preparation:

  1. Combine Tequila Don Julio Blanco, fresh pink grapefruit juice, fresh lime juice and blue agave nectar in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.
  2. Strain liquid over fresh ice in a Highball glass.
  3. Top up glass with Health-Ade Original Kombucha.
  4. Garnish with grapefruit zest and a small pinch of Jacobsen Sea Salt.

Ideal Serve:

Highball Glass
