National Margarita Day is on February 22nd and Casamigos is prepping you with delicious margarita cocktails to get you ready to sip in style. You can never go wrong with a classic Casamigos Margarita, an easy go-to cocktail that always satisfies. The Smoky Casa Margarita has a touch of smoky flavor, a perfect twist to enjoy.  The signature Casamigas Spicy Jalapeño Margarita is perfect for any time of year, but especially for National Margarita Day.

CASAMIGOS MARGARITA
Ingredients

1.5 oz. Casamigos Reposado Tequila or Casamigos Blanco Tequila

.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

.5 oz. Fresh Orange Juice

.25 oz. Agave Nectar

Optional: 1⁄2 Thick Rim Equal Parts Salt/Sugar/Orange Zest

Garnish: Lime Wheel

Instructions
Wet 1⁄2 rim of rocks glass with lime wheel or wedge, then dip into salt mixture. Combine all ingredients into a tin shaker. Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a small rocks glass. Add fresh ice and garnish.

SMOKY CASA MARGARITA
Ingredients

1.5 oz. Casamigos Mezcal Joven

.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

.5 oz. Simple Syrup

2 Dashes Orange Bitters

Garnish: Charred Orange Peel

Instructions
Combine all ingredients into a tin shaker. Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a rocks glass. Add fresh ice, express natural orange oils from peel over top of cocktail, lightly char peel and garnish.

NOTE: For a less Smoky option, decrease the Casamigos Mezcal Joven pour to .75 oz. and add .75 oz. Casamigos Blanco Tequila.

CASAMIGAS SPICY JALAPEÑO MARGARITA
Ingredients

1.5 oz. Casamigas Jalapeño Tequila

.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

.5 oz. Agave Syrup

1 Dash Scrappy’s® Firewater Bitters or 1 Jalapeño Slice

½ Thick Rim Equal Parts Salt/Sugar/Tajin

Optional: 2 Dashes Grapefruit Bitters

Garnish Small Whole Jalapeño (Cut Lengthwise and Char if Desired)

Instructions
Wet ½ rim of glass with lime wheel or wedge and dip into salt mixture. Combine all ingredients into a tin shaker. (Muddle jalapeño and fine strain if using.) Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a small rimmed rocks glass. Add fresh ice and garnish.
