Celebrate World Cocktail Day With Refreshing Summer-Inspired BACARDÍ Cocktails

In advance of World Cocktail Day on May 13th, we bring you two cocktails from the world’s most awarded rum brand BACARDÍ.
Hot off the heels of BACARDÍ’s “Conga Feat. You” campaign launch, the rum brand brings you the Coco Conga, the official cocktail of the newly reimagined “Conga” track and music video originally by Miami Sound Machine, which is a spin on the classic Mojito with a splash of BACARDÍ Coconut Flavored Rum.
The energetic new track is the first and only official remake of the Latin dance classic in 30 years, featuring lead vocals from Leslie Grace, rap verses from Meek Mill, and produced by GRAMMY Award-winning producer, Boi-1da. If you haven’t seen it, make sure to check out the lively music video HERE, which will make you want to shake your body and do that Conga.
If you’re looking for a cocktail to transport you from the office to the beach, consider mixing up the BACARDÍ Life’s a Beach cocktail. Made with BACARDÍ Añejo Cuatro Rum, Reàl passion fruit puree-infused syrup, lime juice, and coconut water, this is the perfect tropical drink to make you feel like you’re soaking up the sun on holiday.
If you’re entertaining for World Cocktail Day, this drink can also be made into a group serve – just multiply all the ingredients by six and you have enough to share.
BACARDÍ Life’s a Beach (above)
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ oz. BACARDÍ Añejo Cuatro Rum
- 3/4 oz Reàl passion fruit puree-infused syrup
- ¾ oz. lime juice
- 1 ½ oz. coconut water
Method: Shake all ingredients with ice, and strain into a highball glass over cubed ice. Garnish with a pineapple leaf and/or pineapple wedge.
BACARDÍ Coco Conga
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. BACARDĺ Superior Rum
- 1 oz. lime juice
- 12 mint leaves
- 2 tsp. extra fine sugar
- 1 oz. club Soda
- Splash of BACARDĺ Coconut Flavored Rum
Method: Add the BACARDĺ Superior Rum, lime juice sugar and mint to a highball glass. Press mint with a bar spook to release oil. Add crushed ice, almost to top, and churn. Top with Club Soda and crown with a splash of BACARDĺ Coconut Flavored Rum.
