Now that we’re spending more time at home it’s a good time  to put those mixology skills to the test. Create fun sips with Don Papa Rum that pack the punch and can be made using everyday ingredients. Ben Rojo, Brand Ambassador for the spirit and NYC Mixologist (Angel’s Share, Black Emperor), has created the practical yet delicious cocktails below.

The Breakfast for Dinner and Working from Home cocktails incorporate everyday ingredients such as orange juice, leftover coffee, and maple syrup. Don Papa Rum is available for delivery via Caskers, Drizly, Warehouse Wines, and other local retailers.

WORKING FROM HOME (above)

Ingredients:
2 oz Don Papa Rum

2 oz leftover coffee

0.5 oz maple syrup

pinch of cinnamon powder

pinch of cocoa powder

pinch salt

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in your mug of choice.

To enjoy cold, add a few cubes of ice and stir.

BREAKFAST FOR DINNER

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Don Papa Rum

2 oz orange juice

1 tsp marmalade

1 tbsp vanilla ice cream

pinch of cayenne pepper

pinch of salt

Directions:
If you’ve got a shaker at home, combine all ingredients with a scoop of ice and go to town.

If you don’t have a shaker, toss everything in a blender with a half scoop of ice and fix yourself a creamsicle.

Serve with buttered toast and a side of bacon, preferably with a bathrobe and slippers.
