Italian designer, Domenico Vacca, celebrated the grand opening of his new flagship destination—a 10-story building off Fifth Avenue on 55th street that includes men’s and women’s retail, a bespoke atelier, an Italian espresso bar & café, barber shop, beauty salon, rooftop terrace, art gallery, private members-only club, and 30 long-term stay furnished residential units designed by Vacca himself. The Domenico Vacca is the ultimate expression of luxury and comfort, all in one place.
Vacca has long been known as an expert in luxury Italian tailoring for both men & women, including designing Terrence Howard‘s fashions for “Empire,” and Jeremy Piven’s suits for “Entourage;” leading to a cameo in the feature film. He has exclusive boutique locations in NYC, Beverly Hills, London, Milano, Mexico, Doha and Miami. This new space is destined to become a ‘must’ destination for purveyors of quality, luxury, and bespoke one-of-a-kind styles. The launch of this all encompassing flagship location will take him from celebrity designer to complete lifestyle brand, with a concept he calls “casual luxury.”
Following a red carpet arrival complemented by a Maserati display, guests were able to explore the various elements of The Domenico Vacca while enjoying specialty cocktails by Disaronno. VIPs were later invited to join Vacca in the exclusive DV Club for dinner and live entertainment by special guests including the Umberto Smalia Band, while sipping Disaronno Riserva and tasting culinary delights from Truffle Sommelier, Christine Berni-Silverstein (Master Chef, Season 5).
The grand opening event was sponsored by Disaronno, Saicaf, Sofia Falleroni from the Corcoran Group Real Estate, Urbani Truffles, Calvisius Caviar, and Maserati of Manhattan (who will be partnering with The Domenico Vacca long-term by providing the Maserati Quattroporte as the Domenico Vacca house car).
Notable guests included Grammy winning R&B vocalist Maxwell, Tap dancing sensation Savion Glover, Award winning director Paul Haggis, ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ regular Jonathan Cheban, NFL players Pat Morrison, Chris Houston, Steve Maneri, Dale Moss, model Victoria Silvstedt, President & CEO of Corcoran, Pamela Liebman, celebrity chef Todd English, and Eleonora Pieroni, Vacca’s fiancée.
The Domenico Vacca is located at 15 West 55th Street, New York, NY. Definitely worth a visit.
