As millions tune in to football’s biggest game, Discover Puerto Rico is creating a groundbreaking second portal, a live Puerto Rican culture hub streaming on Complex YouTube that celebrates Boricua spirit during one of the year’s most-watched moments.

Hosted by Plena Libre, known as a “singing newspaper band,” the live stream will feature Boricua and diaspora voices breaking down the game in Spanish and Spanglish. Kansas City Chiefs running back Isaiah Pacheco, whose father is from Ponce, will make a special appearance alongside sports analyst Felipe Martinez and actor Amaury Nolasco, creating a culturally rich alternative viewing experience that positions Puerto Rico at the cultural heartbeat of the weekend.

The digital activation takes place as part of a broader cultural celebration in the Bay Area, with Family Style Food Festival also activating in Oakland that weekend, bringing together cuisine, community, and culture during football’s biggest moment.

What Viewers Can Expect:

  • Live cultural commentary in Spanish and Spanglish during the Big Game

  • Hosted by legendary Plena Libre

  • Special appearances from Kansas City Chiefs RB Isaiah Pacheco, sports analyst Felipe Martinez, and actor Amaury Nolasco

  • Streaming live on Complex YouTube

This isn’t just an alternative viewing experience, it’s a statement that Puerto Rican culture, language, and voices belong at the center of these conversations.
