Ferragamo recently launched a new men’s scent, Ferragamo Intense Leather Eau de Parfum.
Created in collaboration with senior perfumer Antoine Maisondieu, Ferragamo Intense Leather is a leathery aromatic salty creation with a deep contemporary twist, playing with contrasting notes of radiance and seduction. The fresh soul of Mandarin intertwines with vivid Pink Peppercorn as the herbaceous magnetism of Clary Sage Absolute captures the senses. Kristiansand New York
Kristiansand New York is a masculine fragrance that combines two different ambiences— the serene winter atmosphere of the Norwegian town Kristiansand and the urban lifestyle of New York. The perfume was designed by two Norwegians who met in New York. Britt Hovde Ross and actress Elisabth Steen wanted to create a new masculine fragrance, as there are so few out there that they really like.
Perfumer Pierre Constantin Gueros from Drom Fragrances helped them develop the composition. Top notes are Nutmeg, Pepper, Mandarin Orange, Fig and Plum; middle notes are Lavender, Cinnamon, Virginia Cedar, Clary Sage and Vetiver; base notes are Musk, Amber, Tonka Bean and oak moss.
New York is embodied with sophisticated powdery notes, musk and amber, while Kristiansand—Britt’s hometown—is described with wood, spice and green flavors.The composition opens with crisp aromas of plum and fig, exotic spices (black pepper and nutmeg) and green mandarine. Silver lavender and clary sage are in the heart, along with woody notes of cedar and vetiver, as well as a dash of cinnamon. The fragrance finishes with a warm base of amber, musk, tonka bean and oak moss.
