Heatherton is known for her stunning beauty, athletic body, and for gracing top designer runways, ad campaigns and global magazine covers since 2006. She was named the face of Northwest, the official sports apparel line for major sports leagues, including the NFL and Collegiate Sports. And further conclusive proof of her mass sports appeal was her inclusion as a ‘Rookie’  in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Heatherton was discovered by a scout while vacationing on South Beach, Miami. In September 2006 she launched her career in New York City, walking for Diane von Fürstenberg. She has since walked for Prada, Stella McCartney, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors,  Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabbana, and Etro among others.

Countless covers include international editions of Elle, GQ and Vogue. She also appeared on Interview, Numero, V, Marie Claire, and Harper’s Bazaar. The list of campaigns is equally impressive with Chopard, XOXO, Diesel, Versace, Lord & Taylor, H&M, Armani, Valentino, Karl Lagerfeld, and Dolce & Gabbana.

But perhaps Heatherton is best known as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. She walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show from 2008 through 2013 and was officially contracted as an Angel from 2010 until 2013.

During an exclusive event at The Chester in New York City our own Irina Proskurina had a chance to chat with Erin about her role as Brand Ambassador.

HOMBRE: How would you describe Curve Sport?
Erin Heatherton: Curve Sport is a twist on the classic Curve. It’s a dynamic men’s fragrance that I love because it’s a fresh scent that’s really complex and multi-layered. It’s great for every man because the top notes are fresh and zingy and kind of fruity, and that’s great if you’re working out and you want to feel a kind of the zest of energy. The mid notes are outdoorsy and herbal, and the bottom notes are really warm, like sandalwood and tobacco.

H: What type of fragrance attracts you in a man?
EH: It’s really important. They do have power over me. I always love to smell a man that smells different because it makes me curious. It gives me a new kind of feeling. Fragrance gives me a strong emotion and tells me something about the man that’s kind of subtle and those are the most interesting things, the most beautiful things. I love a man that smells different and not too spicy. something fresh and just different. It should be something I didn’t expect.

H: Being such an active sports fan, what’s your favorite sport and team?
EH: My favorite sport is basketball. I played my whole and I think it’s so much fun to watch. I’m watching now. It’s the basketball season so it’s really fun. I have the NBA ticket or whatever (laughs). My favorite team is the (Chicago) Bulls. I grew up watching them when Michael Jordan played. The Bulls are my home team. I love them. And they’re doing so well this year, they’re gonna win!

H: Who should get Curve Sport?
E: My boyfriend’s gonna get it. My brother’s gonna get it. My dad’s gonna get it. And they’re all gonna smell so good!
As a sports enthusiast and active basketball player myself, I know how important it is to feel sexy, confident and fresh while you’re in the game or have an action-packed day. Curve Sport truly embodies a lifestyle that I love and all the things I look for in a guy.
