With the number of COVID-19 cases increasing across the world, more people are opting to limit their time in public and communal places. Places like gyms across the country are taking measures to make sure their members feel safe using the exercise equipment. But what about people who do not feel safe in places like the gym?

The CDC recommends moderate to vigorous exercise for at least 60 minutes a day, but how can people do this and practice social distancing?

ACE is a nonprofit exercise professional and health coach certification organization, setting high industry standards, elevating the careers of professionals and helping people worldwide make movement their mission.

ACE compiled a list of exercises that can provide a total-body at-home workout. Here are some creative ways to stay active at home:

  1. Exercise your back, butt/hips and shoulders with supermans
  2. Work on your upper body strength with push-ups
  3. Keep a strong core while planking
  4. Want defined abs? Reverse crunches are great
  5.  No, you can’t skip leg day, do some squat jumps
