The King of the Baggers season finale takes place September 9-11 at the New Jersey Motorsports Park where it’s a winner take all battle between Travis Wyman (Harley-Davidson, 106 pts) and Tyler O’Hara (Indian, 103 pts) as Harley looks to capture back to back crowns, and Indian looks to play spoiler and secure the crown again – having won the inaugural race in 2020.

A perennial favorite on the schedule, New Jersey Motorsports Park features 12 corners and a half-mile straightaway on a 2.25 mile course. The event includes a Friday qualifying round and two full weekend days of racing as attendees are in close proximity to the motorcycles and racers themselves with an open race style.

The events is perfect for families to enjoy food, stunt shows and a Kids Zone with carnival games. There are multiple ticket options including packages that deliver the pit experience plus a walk of Superbike starting grid.  Other options offer the chance to ride your own motorcycle on the track itself, and VIP parking and catering for a thrilling weekend of superbike and bagger racing.

There are over 120 riders competing in five classes in one of the best competitions found in any sport. For the first time in NJMP history, MotoAmerica is bringing the King of Baggers Championship to Thunderbolt Raceway. Indian and Harley Davidson go head-to-head in this series featuring V-Twin baggers.

As of right now, it’s shaping up to be an incredible finish, with the Harley Davidson team (led by Travis Wyman) up only three points on Tyler O’Hara, who races for Indian. In 2021, Harley took the crown and in the inaugural race in 2020, Indian was named King. This is only the third year running, so a 1-1 tie certainly has people interested.
