J BALVIN Becomes First Latin Artist Selected As A NY Fashion Week: Men’s Ambassador

As a strong men’s fashion advocate in Latin Music, J Balvin will be acting as one of the celebrity spokespersons and attend all fashion shows of New York Fashion Week: Men’s Fourth Season, January 30 to February 2. This comes as his chart-topping “ENERGIA” is confirmed as the #1 overall (Most-Consumed) Latin Album of 2016

J Balvin joins the likes of past NYFW: Men’s ambassadors Matt Harvey, Andy Cohen, Dwayne Wade, Jerry O’Connell, Eric Decker, Shaun White, Kellan Lutz, among others.

Upon receiving the honor Balvin said, “I’m honored and thankful to be partnering with the prestigious CFDA as one of the menswear ambassadors for fashion week. My interest in fashion is only matched by my love for music and I’m blessed to be given an opportunity to learn about some of my favorite designers from a firsthand look at their latest collections. Following an impressive six consecutive #1 Singles, J Balvin announced on social media that his album track “SIGO EXTRAÑÁNDOTE” is now on its way to radio as the next single. He recently received an iHeart Music Nomination for “Latin Artist of the Year” And six Premio Lo Nuestro Nominations, including “Artist of the Year.”
