Summer Cocktails to Kick off the Weekend with HORNITOS

The next hot summer weekend, whether you’re going to the beach or partying at a backyard barbecue – be sure to get your celebratory drinks in order! These three cocktails from Hornitos Tequila will show that you’ve come prepared and will have everybody talking.

Hornitos Star Spangled

Star Spangled

· 2 Parts Hornitos Reposado Tequila

· 4 Parts Apple Juice

· 1 ½ Parts Lemon Juice

· 1 Part Honey

· Lemon Twist

Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake vigorously and strain over fresh ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Hornitos Patriotic Plata

Patriotic Plata

· 1 Part Hornitos Plata Tequila

· ⅓ Part JDK & Sons™ Fleur Liqueur

· ⅓ Part Lemon Juice

· Lemon Twist

Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake vigorously and strain over fresh ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Hornitos Firework Fizz

Firework Fizz

· 1 ¼ Parts Hornitos Plata Tequila

· Strawberries

· ½ Part Lemon Juice

· ½ Part Simple Syrup

· Splash of Seltzer

Preparation: Muddle one strawberry, combine remainder of ingredients except seltzer in a shaker with ice, shake vigorously, strain over fresh ice and add a splash of seltzer. Garnish with a strawberry.
