Ditch the crowded restaurants and opt-in for a Valentine’s stay in with your friends or a romantic dinner with your loved one.  This year, keep calm and get your cupid on with these quick, easy, and delicious Valentine’s Day cocktails from Buchanan’s Whisky, Bailey’s, Tequila Don Julio, and Tanqueray.

Whether you are into sweet or tropical flavors, below we’ve narrowed down top cocktails that will leave your closest ones in the mood for love and friendship.

Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake Martini (above)

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Baileys Red Velvet
3/4 oz Vodka

Preparation:
Add Baileys Red Velvet and vodka in an ice-filled shaker.
Shake with ice and pour into a martini glass.

Buchanan’s Ginger Beau

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Buchanan’s 12-Year-Old DeLuxe Blended Scotch Whisky
3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
Ginger Beer for Top
2 Fresh Strawberries for garnish
Fresh Rosemary Sprig for garnish

Preparation:
1. Combine Buchanan’s 12-Year-Old DeLuxe, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.
2. Strain contents into a highball glass over fresh ice.
3. Fill to top with ginger beer. Garnish with fresh strawberries and fresh rosemary sprig.

Glass: Highball

Garnish: Fresh Strawberries & Fresh Rosemary Sprig

Rose-Berry T&T

Ingredients:
1.25oz Tanqueray No. TEN
.5oz Raspberry Syrup
Tonic Water (to top)

Glassware: Copa Glass

Garnish:
Freeze Dried Raspberry Dust (for rim of glass), Rosemary, Spray Rose

Preparation: Add ice to glass with Tanqueray No. TEN and raspberry syrup. Top with tonic. Place floral garnish through center of raspberry and place to rim of glass using cocktail pick.

Midnight Magic

Ingredients:
0.5 oz Johnnie Walker A Song of Ice
0.5 oz Johnnie Walker Black Label
0.25 oz Amaretto
0.25 oz Amaro
0.75 oz Lemon Juice
1 Egg White

Garnish: Lemon Peel

Glass: Chilled Coupe

Preparation:
In a small mixing tin add Egg White, Lemon Juice, Amaro, Amaretto, Johnnie Walker Black Label, and Johnnie Walker A Song of Ice in that order. Cover with large shaker tin and dry shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Open tin and add ice to the top of the small tin. Cover with large shaker tin and shake vigorously for 7-10 seconds. Strain over a chilled coupe. Gently squeeze a lemon peel making sure the skin of the lemon peel is facing towards and atop the cocktail so as to express the zest over the cocktail and insert the expressed lemon peel. Enjoy!

Tequila Rose Soda

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio 70 Crystal Añejo
4 oz Topo Chico Soda Water
1/2 oz Lime Cordial*
1 small drop Rose Water

Edible Rose Petal for garnish

Preparation:

1. Combine Tequila Don Julio 70, lime cordial and rose water into a highball glass.

2. Add fresh ice cubes to the glass and fill to top with Topo Chico. Stir gently.

3. Garnish with edible rose petal

*Lime Cordial:

Combine the zest of 3 limes to 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and let sit at room temperature for 24-36 hours. Add 3/4 cup of fresh lime juice and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly and discard lime zest.

Glassware: Highball

Garnish: Edible Rose Petal

Single Winter Buck

Serves 6

Ingredients:
9 oz The Singleton of Glendullan 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
6 oz Fresh Blood Orange Juice
4 ½ oz Ginger Honey Syrup
1 ½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice

Club Soda to Top

Dried Blood Orange Slices for garnish

Preparation:
1. Combine The Singleton of Glendullan 12 Year Old, fresh blood orange juice, ginger honey syrup and fresh lemon juice into a large punch bowl with ice. Stir Well

2. Using a ladle, serve in rocks glasses over fresh ice. Fill to top with club soda and garnish with a dried blood orange slice.

RumChata Salted Caramel Martini
2 parts RumChata
1 part Caramel Vodka
Sea Salt/Table Salt (Do Not Use Margarita Salt)

1. Rim martini glass with salt (use water, NOT lime juice).
2. Shake ingredients with ice and strain into martini glass.
3. Optional: Drizzle a teaspoon of caramel sauce into bottom of glass.

RumChata Cappuccino Martini
2 parts RumChata
1 part Espresso
1/2 part Vodka
1/2 part Coffee Liqueur
(Or substitute 1.5 parts espresso vodka for vodka and espresso)

1. Shake vigorously with ice and strain into Martini glass.
2. Garnish with espresso beans.
